Dave McKellips  - Interim Lead Pastor  Dr. Dave McKellips was elected to the office of superintendent of the Northeast Oklahoma District in June of 2006 with General Superintendent Jerry D. Porter presiding. At the time of his election McKellips was serving as senior pastor of the Tulsa Central Church of the Nazarene where he had served for more than 12 years.  In his ministry career, the Kansas native has pastored since 1981 in Nevada, Kansas and Oklahoma.  Dave is married to Gloria (Robison); they met while attending MNU. God has blessed Dave and Gloria with two daughters and a son. Keri, a 2002 graduate of SNU, now married to Dr. Damien Mitchell, mother of Elliana and Everly. Lindsey, a 2006 graduate of SNU, now married to Rev. Scott Dermer, mother of Millie, Eli and Bennett. David, a 2011 graduate of OSU, an MBA in 2016, now married to Elaine and they have a chocolate lab puppy named Lincoln.

Steve Davis - Associate Pastor

He and his wife Miriam, has joined our staff as an Associate pastor with responsibilities in Worship and Pastoral Care. One of his passions is prayer. Therefore, Steve will be leading our Prayer, Evangelism, and Church Membership Committee.

Pastor Steve is an ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene in which he has been in full time ministry for 29 years. Steve and Miriam have three adult children and three grandchildren.

Melanie Ross  - Children's Pastor  Pastor Melanie grew up in the Midwest and has lived in Broken Arrow, OK since 2000. We are a Nazarene Safe facility that puts children first. Pastor Melanie’s deepest desire is to see children ask Jesus into their hearts and help parents to actively participate in their families’ spiritual development. With Biblically based curriculum and volunteers with a passion to teach and love children, our goal is to help children find their place in God’s Kingdom. Christina Knight  - Special Needs Pastor  Christina serves as Pastor of Special Needs Ministries at Tulsa Central. She grew up in the Tulsa area before heading to college at the University of Notre Dame (go Irish!) for a degree in Accountancy. Christina is a CPA and has served in business and nonprofit accounting roles.  Christina has a passion for people with special needs. She is blessed with two sons and two nephews (ranging in age from 8 to 19) with diagnoses on the autism spectrum and a brother-in-law with an intellectual disability. Over the past decade she’s been active in mentoring children and teens with special needs in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts; volunteering in the autism program at Broken Arrow Public Schools; and serving on the board of LeadLearnLive, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing college degree and certificate programs to Oklahoma for students with disabilities. In her “free time” she enjoys reading and playing the piano and marimba.  It is Christina’s heartfelt desire that all people with disabilities would have a place in the church, a place for spiritual instruction, care, and community, a place to grow, love, and be loved.  “All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is part of it.” 1 Corinthians 12:27

Jorge Arellano  - Hispanic Ministries Director  Jorge is grateful for the wonderful opportunity to serve as Director of Hispanic Ministries and Pastor of Tulsa Central (Hispanic Congregation). Jorge and his family have been a part of Central Church and the Tulsa community since mid-2013. He has work experience in Sales, Management and the Finance industry. He graduated from Southern Nazarene University with a Bachelor of Science in Business, Organizational Leadership. Jorge is also currently working on obtaining a Master of Arts Degree in Theology.  He was born in San Francisco California and raised in Southern California. Before coming to Tulsa Central Church, Jorge lived in the Northeast Mississippi Area since 2005. Over the years, he has Served and gained experience in various ministry leadership roles. His desire is to see people truly encounter the Love of God and that they will develop a meaningful relationship with their creator.  Jorge and his wife Jocelin have been married since January 2011. Jocelin is a bilingual Pre-K Teacher, who has served at Tulsa Central as an administrative assistant. Jorge and Jocelin are proud parents of two happy and energetic children, their daughter Grace Elenna and son Nathaniel.
